What do u need to open up a live radio station on the net (equipment,connection,...)?

Some basic stuff such as 1) a pc connected to the net 2) That pc the preferably to have a static IP rather than dynamic so those that listen will always know where to look 3) some audio streaming software server 4) some tunes (legal of course) It's the the exhaustive list it can be but once you have the basics above. You can stream from your IP address to anyone who wants to listen. There's other things you can do to make it more accesseble but it would confuse the answer to your question.
