Is it legal to record music off of online radio stations like Live 365 or Pandora?

as long as I’m just putting it on my iPod to listen to on the way to work? Please, I want someone who actually knows what they’re talking about; preferably someone who has been through law school. Thank you

1. It is legal to record music or tv programs, but you can only keep them for a certain amount of time (48 hours sounds right) before you have to erase them.
