Online radio broadcasts?

For years now I've wanted to broadcast live radio. However, live radio normally costs a lot of money, so i'd like to do it over the internet. So if anybody has any sites that i could use that will let me broadcast live radio over the internet so that my friends can log in and listen. Thanks

1. You could try to do it through Windows Media Encoder. You can have live sessions, music selection, and more. It's accessible over the internet. Only problem is I think you have to plan everything in advance. By the way, I should mention this is a free alternative.
