How to broadcast an online live radio from an existing fm station?
I want to broadcast the online live version of my local fm station , is it possible? Will I need special equipment, if so which ones? what would be the easiest way?

- Why would you want to do that? Most stations broadcast on the web already. I'm pretty sure you can't even re-broadcast their signal without running into all sorts of legal problems.
- The above answer brings up some good points. If this is a low-power station of yours, fine. There is equipment that will synch up everything (do a search on Google or Yahoo) and software such as: http://www.broadcast-live.com/usa.html... http://www.live-radio.net/us.shtml... http://www.radiotower.com/?c_code=us&h_i... However, if it's a local FM station in which you have no interest - avoid like the plague. Big trouble for U. -a guy name Duh
- There is software available that can hook you up for a live cybercast...contact Adobe...you'll need a good mic, around $100. to $250....you can use a cheaper one, but you'll sacrifice the quality of your sound, which is a big listener turn off...query ZZZounds.com and talk to the reps there, they can set you up with the equipment...use DSL to hook to the net...anything slower will sacrifice quality...have a nice broadcast.
