Why everytime i try to record radio live programs, when i save as mp3 and want to listen, its no sound?

I tried 2 or 3 different programs to do it, but always the same.

1. If you are trying to listen to your radio live and then record it to your computer, check your volume control first. Make sure when you click on the 'Options' on the volume control, it is showing the 'line in', (or actually the 'stereo mix'. Try a test recording. What program are you using? Make sure you have a sound card that can do full duplex. That means you can play and record at the same time. Good luck. Why don't you respond with the program you are using?
