If radio stations can broadcast live over the internet, why can't TV stations?

When are TV stations going to start broadcasting live over the internet?

1. The station doesnt want to pay for the internet speed required to do that.
2. much more bandwidth needed there is a pc tv provider - one time fee (29.95-39.95??) and then you can download and watch tv --- but you get what you pay for - and it's cruddy the radio is much better
3. When the average internet speed gets to at least 4.5mbps (it's about 600kbps now).
