How can I stream live radio?

How can I stream live radio? Is there a tool that can pick up the radio waves and put it into my computer so I can stream it? Thank you!

1. if there is a certain station you would like to listen to, find their website and usually you can stream through there.
2. You can use programs like Windows Media Player. Click on Media Guide>radio>internet radio then start searching. If you have a favorite local radio station check its website and see if they offer streaming audio. You computer doesn't need anything else to play radio station. There may be a way to fix up your comptuer to also act as a radio but that will probably be more trouble then it is worth.
