Is there a streaming news/talk radio station in Spanish I can listen to? I am trying to immerse myself in Spanish, and I thought listening to some streaming audio would be helpful. If there is something broadcast from Puerto Rico, that would be great, but something from Spain or elsewhere would work too. I'd also prefer the format to be Windows media player. Gracias!
Where can I listen to French Radio Talk streaming online? I tried the Radio in itunes but the selection of international stations is thin, and most of it is of course music. What I'm specifically looking for is any place where I can listen to a continuous stream of spoken French, to improve my language skill. many thanks
streaming AM radio on a BlackBerry Bold 9700? I am new to the BlackBerry world (and lovin' it!). I have a BB Bold (9700) with AT&T. So far, I've found one app that streams AM talk radio in the New York City area - 570 WMCA powered by Airkast (airkast.com). Does anyone know/use an app for steaming in particular, 1010 WINS and 710 WOR respectively?
Looking for free program to record streaming Radio? I need a program FREE, that will allow me to record the audio from a 4 hour nightly streaming radio talk station. I have used Cam Studio a few times to do this by setting video to very low settings and recording audio that way, then converting the video to a MP3 audio file, but cam studio is acting up and is not reliable. I would love a better program I could download for free, it has to be able to record up to 4 hours. It would be a big bonus if it had any features such as setting a timer so it will stop recording at a specific time, but is not a requirement. Anyone know of any programs? I found one great one but the free version only let you record for 5 min at a time which does me no good.
Downloading Internet Talk Radio Streams and Converting to text? Experts only please. Im big into talk radio internet scenes. Is there a way to not only rip a internet talk radio stream, but also use some sort of program to convert the recorded files to text so i can read them at work? I know it may seem complicated, but ive seen programs out there that do that but i cant seem to figure out how to rip the audio stream. And these programs only allow .wav to text. This is beyond me any help possible please. and what software might that be? money is no concern.
Why is the liberal left afraid of talk radio? Thier is a move out thier to indoctinate the "fairness act".To silence talk radio. We all know that the main stream media circles thier wagons around the Democrats and the liberal left all the time. Air America failed miserably even with George Saros money. This has to tell you what the average american wants to listen to
How can I have a talk web radio station? I used to use things like LiveVideo and UStream.tv to stream Video, but I just want to stream audio. How can I do that? Will shoutcast work for me? It's not music, it's talk radio. And I kinda want to be able to put an applet on my blog! thanks! BTW, Podcasts are out of the question. I need LIVE prorogation.
How do you listen to live shows on Blog Talk Radio? Your help needed! What would draw you to our brand of rock talk radio? We are a rock music talk show that airs on radio and streams online. We'd like to know from you, the fans, what would draw you to our show and make you listen live? Would it be the guest whom we're interviewing? Would it be a segment about your local rock clubs? What would be the draw? We're looking for new avenues to explore and who better to ask than our own listeners, as well as people that aren't currently listeners. Any responses would greatly be appreciated. (you can also contact us by visiting our site and clicking on the Live Chat banner at the bottom of our home page). We want to hear from YOU! Thank you.
Is the radio broadcast industry still alive and well? I'm not a regular listener of talk radio but I respect the novelty of old-school AM/FM radio. With newer forms of media and technology such as the internet (including internet and satellite radio streams), television, ect., is the old-fashioned AM/FM broadcast radio still doing well?

Interesting or informative online talk/news radio? I'm looking for a good online talk radio station to listen to while sleeping. I've been listening to BBC world news but the stream stops after a while. Oh and I'm a student who loves to learn but hates being brainwashed if that makes any sense lol.
Can you suggest any good talk radio stations that can be streamed online? I was a huge fan of Live 105.3 in Dallas type of talk shows (before they switched format). They had talk shows such as Pugs and Kelly, Russ Martin, Jagger Mafia, Tom Leykis, Richard Hunter, etc. I enjoy funny talk shows that can talk about anything from politics to pop-culture. I am at work all day so I need a station that I can stream online. I listen to Richard Hunter's show online but I have to wait until 4PM. I need something that I can listen to between the hours of 11PM through 4PM CMT. The station does not have to be 100% talk radio. I can settle for talk + Top 40 style music. Any suggestions? (Best suggestion can easily get "Best Answer" awarded).
Please recommend a streaming audio application for Android phones? I have the T-mobile MyTouch phone, with Android software. Can anyone recommend an application that will let me stream a wide variety of Internet talk radio stations? When I am on the Internet, I like to listen to stations with the "Listen Live" option, which often plays with Windows Media player. Since the player doesn't work when I'm using the phone's Internet browser, I would like to have a way to listen to stations on my phone.

How do you set up SAM Broadcaster Software for an online streaming radio show/station? Hello. I have SAM Broadcaster for starting my radio show. I do not quite know how to set it up or how to stream it. I have my own hosting company so, I need help on setting it up on my website. I went to: http://spacial.com/sam-broadcaster/ to purchase the software, etc. A friend of mind had given me instructions on how to set it up, but never had the time to finish telling me. I like Blog Talk, but I want to use something more professional. I see a lot of online streaming radio stations that are doing just great. I need help with the set up: * The dashboard set up * How to use Shoutcast to stream? * How much would it cost to do this? * How can I set up my show/station on my server? Software for starting a radio show? Hi, I'm planning on starting an online streaming radio show with a friend. One of those kinds where you talk about stuff and play music. What sort of stuff besides a microphone do I need? Like software to play the music that people suggest, and then talk in between it and such? Thanks. ^^
Streaming radio on Iphone? There is a local talk show (100fm WNIR) and I was wondering how I can stream it on my phone. They do stream their show on the internet. My iphone cannot load the media player : (
Where can I find Japanese TV and Radio on the Internet? I know that the best way to learn a language is through immersion, but I can't move to Japan right now. Does anyone know a good website where I can watch Japanese Television and stream radio? For TV, I'm not talking about anime. I have my own dvds for that.
Can I host a Talk Radio show online for free? Me and my friends are creating our own blog and website, and I figured that a good surprise to add on to the fling would be a weekly session of live streaming online. We would sit on a couch with a couple of microphones plugged into the computer, and chat away about our topics for twenty minutes or so, and then save it. I looked around though, and I found a smorgasbord of different websites, but they only offered a few of the crucial points I am striving to achieve. My terms for the particular website/program I am looking for is as followed: 1) Must be free :D (if not free, *cheap* but reliable) 2) Live streaming (So people can log in at any time, and hear us as we go) 3) Ability to link it to our website. (I don't want it to be split. I want people on our blog be able to click on the next page, and have it pull up and be able to hear us). Wants, but not necessities (although if you find a few that offer it, I would be grateful!) 1) Video compatible. We hook up a webcam, and blam, it can show us AND hear us as we talk. 2) Archiving. Once we do a session, we can create an archive segment or something of the sort where people who missed it could go back and listen/watch. Like I said, anything you can give me will be useful. I realize just making Youtube videos and uploading them onto our site would be providing many of the same services, but I'm looking for something a bit more sophisticated that has some more individuality to it. Youtube is just too plain, although if there is just NO answer out there, I will resort to it. The closest thing I could find was http://www.spreaker.com, so any opinions on that would be great.\ Thank you for your time!
How much is the data usage ....? How much data is downloaded (used up) for listening to streaming radio on the internet, per hour? I am addicted to talk radio from the USA. Thanks in advance. I shall need to pay per kilobytes downloaded.
Does it cost to have an Internet Radio station? I want to make a talk show on Internet radio. I don't know where to start but if its going to cost don't even bother explaining. All I wont is audio no video streaming. Also how do I get people to listen?
Is there any positive News Radio stations for Obama? The reason I ask this question is because every time I listen to the radio riding home from work the whole hour is about bashing Obama on all the main news talk radio stations and then I get home and he is talking to 75,000 people in Oregon. The largest crowd in political history. What is the main stream media so scared of????
How to change online streaming radio from playing with Windows Media Player to playing with Quicktime? Would I require a license to broadcast a live stream of music/talking on a radio station? I am in the stages of developing an online station which will play music and host discussions for a website I visit. I am currently wondering would I be required to purchase a license to broadcast music legally or would the fact that we have few listeners (5 - 20 max) mean I shouldn't be concerned over the issue. If it is the former, where can i get this licence and ar a cheap price?
Is the Internet, talk radio and Fox News the beginning of the end of modern liberalism? For the first time in its history we are SEEING what liberals do: -Their president bows down in supplication to tyrants and kings who hate America (Obama, before China and the Saudi king) -Their congressmen call our troops terrorists (Kerry) and Nazis (Durbin) -They tell our representatives to pass bills they haven’t even read (Pelosi, on Obamacare) -They want to give Muslim terrorists the same rights as the citizens they murdered (Obama’s Justice Department) -They nationalize corporations like communist always do (GM, GE, the financial sector) -They close down state government and schools and make death threats against elected representatives who try to do what they promised the voters they would do. And Obama supports the unions and mob who have no regard for the Constitutional rights of voters. (Wisconsin) -They carry signs that say: “If tea-baggers are as hot as Fox news anchors I’m here for the gang-bang”; “We took down Nixon. We’ll take down this motherf%#$er”; “If you screw us we will come.” (Wisconsin) And we SEE the main stream media support everything liberals do: Polls of Americans about how they saw Big Media during the ’08 election: -Rasmussen: 69% pro-Obama, 6% pro-McCain -Pew Research: 67% pro-Obama, 11% pro-McCain; also, from 1992-2004 the media is pro-Democrats over Republicans -Sacred Heart University: 68% pro Obama, 9% pro McCain -Fox News/Opinion Dynamics: 67% pro-Obama, 11% pro-McCain -11/21/08 Zogby poll: The web is the most trusted news medium (over TV and print combined), and Fox News is the most trusted TV news source with approval rating of 39%; CNN=16%; MSNBC=15%. Elizabeth Hasselbeck, Stephen Colbert and Chris Matthews were the least trusted, all with scoring under 2%. More people in this poll identified themselves as Democrats than Republicans. A majority think the media is biased. -2008 Pew poll: Fox viewers least politically skewed: Republicans 39%, Democrats 33%; CNN had R 18%, D 51% -5/05 University of Connecticut’s Department of Public Policy survey of journalists, nationwide: 52% supported Kerry, versus 19% for Bush. Is it because liberals have no control over how they think? 10/28/10 , NBC: UCSD, Harvard find “Liberal Gene” as partial answer as to why liberals think the way they do. Or is it because the new media is revealing the truth about them: Liberalism is a religion; there can be no reasoning with religious zealots. Are our eyes lying? No. The truth about liberals – I mean democrats, is here, for all to SEE.
Fox News and AM talk radio disinformation propaganda the greatest threat of our time? There is now a very vocal minority of far right empty chirp heads who know NOTHING about reality. They blather on about freedom and liberty while at the same time they have no problem with government telling us who we can marry, and corporations selecting our representatives, what energy we can use, telling us how to think(fox news propaganda, massive corporate conservative bias in all of main stream media) WAKE UP SHEEP. How can you have a policy discussion about taxes with a empty chirp head who thinks tax cuts pay for themselves... Dems had EVERY piece of legislation blocked by republicans in the senate with filibuster, you wouldn't know that because fox didn't tell you, I watch fox but I also make sure to get the truth. The empty chirp head are the people who listen to them.
How Do I Do a Radio Stream? Alright, I want to do a free broadcast for my high school's baseball games next year. Is there a website that I can go to that will allow me to do this? I am talking something I can stream live and people listen to live and is free for them to listen to, and if possible free for me to do. Thanks!
Does anyone know where I can get that classical music radio toolbar? I just upgraded to a new PC. I had this toolbar for Internet Explorer on my old PC that played Classical Music radio and streams. Had some classical music torrents on it. But, I have searched for it and can not remember where I downloaded it from. I tried a number of different keyword searches, but couldn't find it. Does anyone know what I am talking about?
Does anybody know of a phone/PDA that will play Windows Media Player online radio? Does anyone know of a mobile phone that will play like online streaming radio/audio? I'm talking either the Microsoft's (.asx) or (.asf) audio formats.... Specifically, I'd like to stream several of the radio stations from the Caribbean over my mobile phone.... Examples: * I95.5 fm (Trinidad and Tobago) - http://www.i955fm.com/playlist.asx * Radio Masala 101.1 fm (Trinidad and Tobago) http://masala.gnxnetwork.com/masala In addition, there's also a protocal I see used sometimes namely mms:// any mobile phones also allow this too??? Example: Soca 91.9fm (Trinidad and Tobago) - mms://jamar-media.net/soca919
Stream HAM Radio Over The Internet Now this may sound like a dumb question but i have always wondered and cannot find any answer I know you have to have a license to talk over a HAM Radio but can you listen or Stream it over the internet without getting into any trouble. I want to Stream The Skywarn Spotters on My Severe Weather Page.
Does radio Have to be conventional? My friend & I have produced an hour long sketch & Music show. Not only airing it on a community radio station but also streaming from our very own website. We produce, write, voice and edit all the sketches and sandwich them between some iconic pieces of music. There's some thing about "talk radio" that makes our skin crawl. The sycophantic opinions, the patronizing attitude. Only forcing people like our selves into a position where monsters have to be created. P.S : The introduction is a little frightening, but its only a minute or so, then into the show. But we would love your feed back. Does radio Have to be conventional? http://www.radio.boudaki.com
How do I listen to Italian radio (online) while I'm in the US? I live in the States but would love to improve my Italian/listen to their news/culture on my laptop. I googled around but had a hard time getting what I was looking for. Does anyone have a link for a radio station that streams live? (Preferably an NPR-structured station that has more news and talking than music, but at this point I'll take anything. Even better if their website has an English translation, although I can probably navigate anyhow.)
Having trouble sleeping? Lately I can't fall asleep unless I am listening to the radio, like talk radio or streaming radio replays of a morning show I like. I think it's the noise and the voices that help me sleep, or also because the talking distracts me from my own thoughts. I used to leave the TV on but weaned myself onto radio instead. I can't seem to break myself from this habit and I will have to go out of town for work and will be sharing a hotel with coworkers. I'm afraid I won't be able to sleep. Also I think it would be difficult sharing a bed with my boyfriend in the future if I can't sleep without the radio. I know he likes it to be absolutely silent.
Computer will only stay online for a couple minutes.? I have Verizon DSL and when I go online, I can only visit a couple of sites and then I can no longer surf. If I disable the network connection and then enable it, I can go through the same cycle again. I listen to talk radio online, and once I get the streaming going, it will continue all day long even though I can not access another website. Any ideas as to what is happening here.
French radio station - easy to understand!? Hi - I'm looking for a French radio station (for my wife) to practice her French. She speaks good French but would prefer it it is not spoken so rapidly that it is hard to understand! It would be great to find a talk radio station (like an NPR / BBC) that is at a moderate delivery and is streamed on the web. Also, would be preferred if from France (sorry to any Quebecois, Martiniqueois etc out there) Thanks very much! PS anyone looking for a French *music* station should check out FIP radio
Where can I find or listen to old Yahoo radio ads? About two years ago, Yahoo ran radio spots for Yahoo Shopping that featured two girls speaking in "valley girl talk". Very funny ads and I'd love to play them for a friend of mine who never heard them. Can they be found on the web for download or streaming play?
spanish radio station - for practicing Spanish? Hi - I'm looking for a spanish radio station that I can listen to practice my Spanish. My level of Spanish is pretty good, but not good enough to understand a whole lot when the speaker is speaking very rapidly! Does anyone know of radio stations playing mostly talk radio (I'm thinking a latin NPR) that is at a moderate / slow delivery, without a lot of local slang? (I have a preference for Latin American stations if possible, but open to radio from Spain as well.) oh - and I need it to be streaming on the web as wel.. Muchas gracias!
What are we going to do without KZLA? Is there any talk of starting up a new station to fill the gap that KZLA has left in the country music genre for Los Angeles? Aside form streaming radio and HD, as well as personal CD's, do we have any other options?
Why would anyone deface the Vietnam War Memorial and why has it not been covered by main-stream media? Last week 14 of the 140 panels of the Vietnam War Memorial were defaced with some kind of oily substance that, at last report may have done permament damage to The Memorial. I heard about it last night on a radio talk show and came in today and looked it up on the internet. Sure enough, there it was. However, I never saw anything about it on TV or in the newspapers (maybe I missed it, but according to some of the article on the internet, they did web searches of major media sources and found nothing). I'm not good at tying websites to my questions, but if you key in Vietnam War Memorial defaced you can read the articles. Whether you are con or lib I think you should be disgusted by this act of vandelism. My question again is, why would anyone do this, what should be done to them if they are caught, and why has it not been covered by main-stream media? In other words 4scar-----my asking this question is encouraging them to do it again? And since when did the media care about the consequences of them reporting on a story?
Is the Main Stream Media Liberal or Conservative? I was told the Main Stream Media wasn't Liberal and that I've never met a Liberal. 1. I've met a few Liberals in my day. I work in a Union Shop as a UAW member and proud of it. 2. I think the print and most tv news is Liberal. We all know talk radio is mostly if not 100% Conservitive. WHATS YOUR TAKE?
With everyone screaming, streaming and blogging, how do you get your voice heard? It seems information overload is happening because everyone wants to say their two cents. If everyone is talking how do we get them to listen? I am not saying my opinion is any better than anyone else's but how are we do we find the ones that make sense. I know a real key is to get into legitimate media (print, radio, television, etc.) but they don't want anyone who is even remotely out of the "safe" norm. I wrote a proposed column for a local parenting magazine where I suggest that maybe a husband isn't as active a father as the wife would like because she beats him down every time he tries to help. They turned me down because they said it was too offensive to women! I have done this topic tons of time doing stand-up and you wouldn't believe how many fathers come up after a show and tell me they feel the same exact way! How do you get people to listen? I mean, even here there are so many questions posted, this one will be forgotten 5 minutes after I post it.
How can the Onion be so unbiased yet the real media can't even see their own? Heavy duty Conservative here. You libs would hate me. (Just being up front!) I have never been offended from a political point of view by the Onion. I mean i have never read an 'article' there and felt, yeah.. thats a lib writing that and letting his true colors show. BUT, when i look at the main stream media (minus talk radio where they wear their bias on their sleeve) I see nothing but bias and slant, YET, they act as if they are pure as the driven snow. What gives? Can you libs see it? I just don't get it. And the REALLY big question is. How does the Onion actually keep from having this horrible slant? I guarantee their ranks are filled with liberals who love Obama, but you would not know it. I may just turn solely to the Onion for my news from now on. Might be more accurate
I have a an active EVDO Broadband PC Card for my Laptop and I use it. I wanted to mount it in the car. Safe? My dad tells me its a real bad idea. I have a newer Pontiac Sunfire. I wand to get one of those laptop mounts. I found it on EBay for $25.00 . I figured I could use it between the long drives between home and college in the fall so I can talk on AIM and check my E-Mail as well as surf the net while driving. I kinda use it right now while driving but its real hard without a mount. I usually just load up streaming radio like yahoo and play it through my stereo. My dad says its extremely unsafe. Hesays that being he also feel I am a bad driver and never pay attention to the road in the first place, that this is real bad news. Just because I have had my license 2 years and have been in 3 accidents and recieved one Unsafe Operation ticket does not mean I am a bad driver! I called the police. They said state law prohibits TVs in a drivers views, but excluded GPS equipment and laptops. So does anybody else see a problem with this. As usual, I think my parents are overreacting. I'm 18 BTW
Do you listen to the show Twist on the radio? TWIST is the first national gay and lesbian (and I would think bisexual, gay-friendly, and other people also) geared show that is a 2-hour weekly syndicated radio program, also streamed on America Online. It was made by the same people that do MTV's LOGO channel on TV. Do you listen to the show Twist on the radio? What do you think of it? I sometimes listen to Twist on the radio but I've been busy as of late. Can anybody please tell me what questions or subjects they talked about in the "group therapy" part of the show with Maya Kollman over the last few weeks? Twist Radio Site Linked: http://www.radiowithatwist.com/home/
Does anyone watch TV streaming over the internet? Hi. My name is Iain Mackenzie. I'm a technology reporter with Radio 1 Newsbeat. I'm working on a story about streaming / downloading tv. I'm looking to find soeone who uses sites like tv-links.co.uk to talk about why they're so good and why you use them rather than watching regular TV. It's for today (12th June). Only after UK responses... sorry. Drop me a line on iain.mackenzie@bbc.co.uk Cheers Iain
Who finds Dennis Malloy extremely sexy? He's on from 10a-2p with Judi Franco on 101.5, a NJ radio talk show. You can stream them on your computer if you dont' live out here (nj1015.com). Great looking, intelligent, a real guy (hairy and not metrosexual), loves the outdoors, sincere and to-the-point, so much fun to listen to, quick witted, wonderful sense of humor, sexy... just an all around perfect man with real qualities.

Has anyone set up icecast streaming from Traktor 3 using the icecast server and streamTranscoder? I've got a fully patched copy of Traktor 3 and have been attempting for some time to get it to stream my live mixes out onto an internet radio station that I play on (www.purple-radio.co.uk). Traktor contains ann embedded ices2 client which should be able to talk to an icecast2 server. I'm looking for someone to talk me through the setup as I can't seem to get it working. I've had the icecast server up and running (as I've checked it's status using a web browser) but can't seem to get Traktor to connect. Both programs are hosted on the same machine, so should I use locahost, 127.0.0.1 or my local IP address when setting up the server. Any help appreciated.
Why have the republicans failed to destroy the character of their opponent? Their swift boat tactics didn't work this time. * they tried to use the race card by claiming that Obama was using the race card when he never did. * They tried to paint him as a socialist when he clearly isn't and has received endorsements from economist magazing a warren buffet. * They tried to tie him to Ayers and even claim that his book was written by Ayers. More conspiracy theories. * In a last ditch desperation they tried to bring his aunt into the fray and blame him for her illegal status. something like 1/4 texans believe that Obama is a muslim. How? Palin McCain rallies are full of people who get their daily dose of filth and steady stream of misinformation from right wing talk radio. Fox news is a 24/7 commercial and Obama attack machine for John McCain. Yet the republicans still got destroyed. Is this the end of the era of the far right hijacking of the republican party? Can republicans still run on talk radio talking points and expect to win again? Where did they go wrong?
Piracy laws for streaming movies.? Me and a friend where talking, and we love to watch movies while we play some of the games that we do online. there are many "fan sites" for these and other games that offer browsers where you can listen to that sites "radio" while you play the game where they have DJs who stream music as we play the game. My question would be, what kind of laws are there that would prevent me from streaming movies for people (with no downloads or anything of that sort) kind of like a DJ just with movies. would i be able to do it at all, would i need a license of some kind. i would buy and own all the DVDs for the movies, and i would used licensed backup/ripping software to put them on the computer/site. Also, something we where talking about was having a membership to do so. this would bring in us being paid, and all new laws. more that i don't know about. We where just brainstorming about this and i was interested to know what we would have to do in order to get that going if we where to ever really want to do such a thing. Please remember that i would not be giving anyone anything, it would be just like me asking, what i would need to do to create a small theater.
Anybody of a place to watch Howard Stern TV free on the web? I listen to Sirius Radio and love the Howard Stern show, I hear them talking about Howard Stern TV and I've seen it On-Demand but I want to check it out before I decide to order it. Does anyone know where I can go to stream the shows for free? Thanks all.

Broadband internet in the car? When do you guys think this will start to happen? The technology is possible. A few years ago they had high speed internet on select China Airlines flights via satellite, although it was discontinued. I'm not interested in surfing the net in the car so much as I would love to be able to listen to streaming radio stations in the car. Right now, as far as radio, it's just the commercial FM, Sirius and XM and that's it. Yet there are a zillion internet radio stations created for very specific genres of music you can't even find on satellite. That would be a dream come true being able to listen to literally anything I wanted when I wanted from any country on earth, including news and talk stations from anywhere. It would be the death of Clear Channel.
