When I stream live radio, it keeps looping after about 5 minutes? I'm using a MacBook Pro with OS X, I listen to radio shows using either the local radio stations live stream or that shows websites options, which is usually real player. (this includes videos to). When I am watching a live stream after about 5-6 minutes, it starts back at the beginning of where I started listening, and then 5 minutes later it does it again. so i have to close and re-open the stream and do it every 5 minutes. Why is it so difficult to live stream out of area baseball games on AM radio stations? You'd think when we can watch every game on tv if we buy the service we would be able to listen to all of them for free. It would be good for the radio stations via more listeners. Is there anyway to get a live streaming radio to your phone or computer? I use iheartradio at work to listen to a local radio station that plays the Elvis Duran morning show in the morning, which works except for one huge problem. On the internet feed (which I guess is the same stream that goes to iheartradio), it plays the same *old* songs everyday. It's either a Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Blink 182 or some other old song. There aren't any new songs played, ever. Is there any other ways to get a live radio stream directly to my phone and/or computer?

What is the cheapest way to get streaming radio? I live in a remote rural area with no radio reception. I do have internet however, and since there are many stations streaming online, I could connect with a "whole house transmitter" which would rebroadcast the station so that I could receive it with various radios in the house. My question is: What is the best way to get a continuous streaming signal, 24/7?
